How do I make a simple daily meal plan?

Pick a goal, plan four eating times (breakfast, a snack, lunch and dinner) and check the day's total against your calorie target. FitHealthy's Meal Planner does this for weight loss, muscle gain, keto, family or budget eating, with calories, protein and a grocery list. Real AI plans are being connected, and demo plans are clearly labelled.

How do I use the meal planner?

  • Choose a goal: weight loss, muscle gain, keto, family or budget.
  • Tap Generate plan to get a day with breakfast, a snack, lunch and dinner.
  • Check the estimated calories and protein for each meal and the daily totals.
  • Tap Shuffle plan for a different set of meals, log any meal with one tap and use the grocery list for shopping.

If you are signed in and have saved a diet or allergies on your profile, meals that conflict with them are flagged with a warning.

How do I match the plan to my calories?

Use the Calorie Calculator first to get your daily target. Then compare it with the plan's total calories. If the plan is lower than your target, add a snack or a larger portion of grains, fruit or healthy fats. If it is higher, trim portions of rice, bread, oils and sweets first.

What affects how well a plan works?

Calories and protein per meal are estimates, and real numbers depend on your portions and cooking oil. A plan helps most when it uses foods you already like and can buy easily. Repeating a few favourite meals is fine, as long as you eat a mix of vegetables, fruit, protein and whole grains across the week.

Demo plans and who should get advice

While real AI plans are being connected, plans come from a demo engine and show a Demo result label. Plans are general wellness suggestions. Keto and other restrictive diets are not suitable for everyone, so talk to a doctor or dietitian first if you are pregnant, under 18, have diabetes, kidney disease or another medical condition, or have a history of an eating disorder.

Frequently asked questions

How many meals a day should I eat?

There is no single right number. The planner uses breakfast, a snack, lunch and dinner, which many people find easy to follow.

Does the meal plan match my calorie target?

Check the plan's total against your target from the Calorie Calculator, then adjust portions or add a snack.

Is keto safe for everyone?

No. Keto is very low in carbohydrates and is not suitable for everyone. Talk to a doctor first if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or are under 18.

Does the meal planner check my allergies?

If you are signed in and saved allergies or a diet on your profile, conflicting meals get a warning. Always double-check ingredients yourself.

Are the meal plans made by AI?

Real AI plans are being connected. Until then plans come from a demo engine and are clearly labelled Demo result.
